ConcertLab

As our first real world client, ConcertLab will always hold a special place in our journey. They allowed us to go all in with our technology and it became a playground to kickstart some of our wildest ideas. It all started with the concept to transform the arched old wooden ceiling into an active element, allowing us to actually virutalize the acoustics through the building itself. After giving a first demonstration, we were bound to create something magical. This led to installing a complete echotope system with custom designed carbon fiber active panels, some of them more than 4 meters tall! Together with an activated roof, Bloomline Acoustics Omnidrive Loudspeakers and custom build subwoofers, we are able to create augmented acoustic environments that convince even the most critical musicians on the planet.

The application at ConcertLab is manifold. The performer should have an optimal acoustics to play in, the recording needs to sound great, and during a live session the audience has to have the best experience. Our system was designed to optimize for all these contexts, while at the same time blending seamlessly in the interior.
